Milazzo is a charming town to be discovered. In the town center you find Palazzo Municipale with its imposing neoclassical style, the starting point for a regenerating sea promenade along the fascinating “Marina Garibaldi“. The oldest part of the town is the village where the Castle stands out, with its imposing Spanish walls and numerous buildings such as the Old Cathedral and Palazzo dei Giurati, seat of the Senate of the town. Medieval walls look towards the promontory and here you will see the figure of a scarab, marking exactly the summer solstice.
In the village, besides historical-religious buildings, there are fancy night clubs where you can spend your evenings. Going up from the village you reach “Capo Milazzo”, a promontory that stretches for 5 km along the Tyrrhenian Sea, with villas, towers, forts and many fascinating spots.
In the last part of the promontory there is a characteristic church carved out of a rock dedicated to S. Antonio da Padova.
From Capo Milazzo, turning back towards the west, you will arrive at Monte Trino, one of the most beautiful panoramic points where it is possible to admire the whole town on one side and, on the other, to admire the coast from Capo Rasocolmo to Capo Calavà.
Another viewpoint is the Manica, from which you can admire the beach coast called “Baia del Tono“.
Holidays in Milazzo are truly an unforgettable experience. Here the combination of sand and pebble beach makes the water crustal clear, allowing tourists to have relaxing days at the beach. Here in the beautiful summer days you will be enraptured by the beautiful sunsets with a sparkling sun dipping in the water. The beauty of the environment continues underwater: the depths of Capo Milazzo are very interesting for lovers of diving and underwater fishing. The seabed is rich in fish and covered by a vast Posidonia prairie, an important aquatic plant for the marine ecosystem.
